Brand Assistant (BRAT) is an AI-powered tool that integrates PitchBook's brand standards into content creation workflows. It applies guidelines for visual identity, messaging, and accessibility to generate on-brand content across presentations, PDFs, web, and social channels, while helping teams review work for brand compliance.
My role was to translate PitchBook's visual identity into a structured system AI could interpret and apply consistently. I converted design guidelines into detailed Markdown instructions defining color usage, typography, logo placement, and layout principles across key formats. This transformed brand standards from static documentation into actionable rules that could guide AI-generated content and reviews.
BRAT has reduced routine design requests and review cycles by embedding brand standards directly into
AI-assisted content creation. By making brand compliance more accessible to non-designers, it frees the creative team to focus on higher-value design work.
